Tomorrow on Friday 21th March 2014 there are two arrivals in Hamburg.
What an event for all parties in Germany. But even in Cyprus the organizations work at full speed, because it land with the two airplanes a total of 14 dogs.
It had to be made many preparations. All dogs had to check again at the vet and to be prepared for the flight. All parties in Cyprus have been going days before the flight many miles for their dogs. Tomorrow a few hours before the flight, the trip goes on, because the dogs need to check in at the two different airports.
Tomorrow the following dogs fly off with a private plane from Paphos to Hamburg: Ashy, Billy Boo, Freeway, Gabby, Milly, Jasmine, Glie, Helen, Janet, Lea and Willow. Eleven dogs in all. They will land 6.00 p.m.
Ashy, Gabby, Glie, Janet, Jasmine, Lea and Milly have found a foster home in Germany.
Billy Boo, Freeway, Helen and Willow are adopted by loving families from Germany.
Ashy was found in a village near Larnaca. She was probably unintentionally and was therefore been discarded. Ashy has a very nice character and will hopefully find soon her family in Germany.
Gabby’s story leaves us speechless once again. She was found tied up next to a garbage bin. The owner was found as well and he explained that he tied her up there, to protect her that she doesn’t go on the street!? But he had no problem to let She go with the animal welfare people. In Germany she will have it better and surely find soon her family.
Janet, our one-eyed sweetie, has may already have found her happiness because she goes to a foster home with an option to takeover. Good luck sweetie.
Lea, we have reported, is traveling to Germany for her operation on her leg. She shall be allowed to lead a better life and movement unrestricted. Good luck for the operation Lea. The start of a better life begins tomorrow with the first step.
Our beauty Glie was unwanted und thrown over the fence of a shelter. We can´t understand that. She is such a nice girl. Shy, but very loving with such a nice character. She will make her people very happy.
Jasmine was found as a puppy. However, she is still a puppy because she is just 6 months old. So far she have had no luck in her life, but this will change with tomorrow´s flight. Her foster family will have lots of fun with her.
Freeway has probably found his great happiness. He is allowed to move to his new home tomorrow. His family will be glad, because Freeway is a very wonderful dog and a eager learner.
Billy Boo was found on a busy main road. He may have bad experienced in the past. This is about to change. He flies tomorrow to his new home and is there to learn lots of love and cuddles.
Helen was found on a road near Larnaca. She is a nice young terrier girl, but still very nervous about people. Seems that she didn’t get treated good by humans until she was found. In Germany, she will make better experiences with people. She will certainly eagerly expected by her family. Love and cuddles will be her future.
Willow was found as she was just 6 weeks old. So still a baby. Her new people will certainly quickly close her in their hearts. She is a very affectionate but also lively little dog. It is sure, she will bring a lot of fun to her new family.
Update 21th March: We are so sorry for Willow. He wasn’t released from his foster home in Cyprus. Too bad for him. Willow: we hope that you will be happy even in Cyprus. Very sad that has been waiting in Germany a family for you and now the family is very sad.
Milly our little puppy was found and rescued in February. The foster family will be pleased for her, because Milly has a very nice character, is housetrained, loves people and is good with other dogs.
We thank all the families who have opted for a dog from the animal protection. Please take good care of our treasures. They are a something special.
We thank all foster families for their support. You are all a great help.
