Jannis was dumped at a municipality pound. Since the pound was over crowded a place in a shelter could be found.

Jannis is a nearly poor bread Basenji and shows the special behavior of a Basenji. Luckily a place with a Basenji Rescue Organisation could be found in Germany and as soon he is ready for traveling he will fly to Germany.

Jannis has an old injury at his right front leg, but this doesn’t give him any problems.
