Stan is seven and a half years old, vaccinated and neutered, but we don’t know much about his history is.
He had lived with a lady for three months before coming to the shelter but where he came from before, no one can say. In any case, Stan knows people and is not afraid of them. Also on commands such as SIT, he responds, which suggests that he comes from an English family that has probably left him behind!
While other dogs were being photographed he sat in his kennel looking sad. Then after a while he ventured out to see what was happening, and here he is.
He is a rather quiet fellow who loves to be petted. He is fine with other dogs, but we think that he likes to take things rather quiet – perhaps because he is slightly overweight!
Although Stan is a bit older he still deserves to find his forever home. For him, a more peaceful family, but who are still active and like to go out would be ideal, but he doesn’t need daily, hour-long walks. Love and cuddles are what he needs most at this time of his life, so that the sadness disappears from his eyes.
