Owen was found by animal rights activists on the street and brought temporarily to their friends. What exactly happens there, we don´t know, we only received a frantic call: Owen is in a very bad state, we don´t know what’s going on with him.
One of our foster homes spared no effort and drove immediately to the people to take the little Owen. It was Saturday evening, no vet had opened and she decided to take him first to her home.
She spent the evening with Owen on the sofa and suddenly she realized that there was blood everywhere… It was already after midnight and the vet removed about 20 km, but it was also because no hesitation, everyone knew for Owen it´s a matter of life and death.
We still don´t know what exactly was the cause, but we suspect that the Shepherds of the people with whom Owen was first treated him very roughly and this had caused internal bleeding.
Owen stood for 2 days on the threshold of death. He had high fever and was very anemic, but that is a thing of the past … now Owen looks back to the front and is doing very well.
He is a very alert, lively boy and can´t wait to finally discover the world.
Owen is very playful and he wants to run, play, learn… everything that such a little dog think of.
