She was very, very anxious and it took some effort to catch her. Fortunately, she was found by a very pet-loving couple, who have already given 7 dogs from the animal welfare a forever home. They have taken Shadow as a fosterer, but they can not take her permanently, because 7 dogs are enough. In the meantime with the family she shows normal behavior and could overcome her fears. She has proved to be very intelligent. She learns incredibly fast and needs a lot of movement. She likes to run with the other dogs over the large property and is very fast. In unknown environments she is still very shy at the beginning and shows unknown dogs her teeth, if they want to much and don´t beware a little distance. She just needs her time to get used to new surroundings and her unknown dogs. Shadow is looking for an active family, who does a lot with her and also supports her intelligence. They were tied up at the shelter fence. Both were in a good condition, wore collars, and they had food and water next to them. Tami was initially quite confused, unfortunately we don´t know how long they were already at the fence. All night, or few hours, we don´t know. They was brought to the vet and the check revealed that Tami was healthy. Meanwhile, Tami has noticed that she is safe and someone cares for her every day. She trusts the helpers and is well with all other dogs. Tami has a rather quiet and very sweet character. He was not microchipped and no owner could be found. Obviously he was exposed. Hector is still shy with unknown people, but he learns to get used to new situations. When he notice that a humans is nice to him he loses his shyness. Hector has a very gentle and lovely character, he is a real softy. He is good with the other dogs in his kennel. We don´t know how and why he landed in the pound, but he is now safe and ready to find a family who never give him up again. Probably he is a pure breed English Springer Spaniel, he looks like that breed. Key is shy with men. We think he have had some bad experience with men, but surely he will be able to take away this fear when he understand that the man is good with him. He has no problems with women and he is good with the other dogs in the shelter. Key is an active dog and would like to be active together with his family. He had been sitting in the pound for weeks and was full of ticks. He had also a bad ear infection and the test for ehrlichiosis was positive. It is treated now. Sotiris is such a great boy. He didn´t lost his confidence in us humans and trusted his rescuers immediately. Sotiris is an olderly boy, he has a very peaceful character. He loves humans, attention from us and loves to be cuttled. He also gets along well with the dogs in his kennel group. Sotiris has the great hope to find a family, which gives him the love he deserves. Please contact us, if you want to offer our lovely boy a forever home. Update about Sotiris from his foster home in Barsbüttel: As soon as Sotiris was here, we fell already in love with him! He is such a happy and friendly boy and enjoys the life. Sotiris is in our foster care in 22885 Barsbüttel. When he sleeps in his cuddly basket he always makes pleasant sounds. He likes our walks through meadows, fields or forests – he finds everything exciting. It happens again and again, that he simply throws himself into the high grass and rolls himself with pleasure. It is just wonderful to see him swim through a pond and then jumps in the meadow. He is always kind to dogs. He also is good in the streets with the road traffic.. He shows me in everything how much joy of life he is. If he doesn´t sleep, he is a permanent tail wobbles. Meanwhile, he has also discovered playing with toys and he brings back every thrown toy. The greatest for him are strokes. He enjoys them to the fullest. He is also good in the car. He is a relaxed passenger. He is already house-trained and can be alone for some time without problems. He is not the youngest boy with 11 years, but he deserves so much to find a loving family who enjoys together with him the happiness of life.
