He talked about his babies and how much he loves them and how hard the decision is for him. We were expecting a little happy beagle team and they were very sad that they had to leave their humans. When Carrie came to the shelter with Joquin, Lucky, Uma and Gael, we didn´t believe our eyes. There was not a funny Beagle group wandering through the gate, no, there were very distraught and frightened, some more shy, other more reserved. We have no idea how the conditions were where they lived and what they’ve experienced, but it’s not normal for that breed Beagle to be distraught and frightened in that way. Now we are glad that his “babies” are with us and we can try to pampered all of them with loves and attention as much as possible. Would be better they could find a lovely home soon, but we think they are now better in the shelter than before. Carrie is the most frightened of the five Beagles. She is trembling all over her body and is almost panicked when you try to stroke her. It hurts to watch at her when she is like that and we hope we can help her to overcome soon. Carrie needs a family, who help her to overcome her fears as well as possible. We can not say if she can have a completely fearless life one day. They were very shy and frightened when they came to the shelter, because they have certainly not experienced much good in their short life. They love each other and play and cuddle a lot together. They also show no fears or anxiety to the other puppies in the shelter. They learn now that even two-legged friends are good to them and hands are only there for cuddles and food. If you are in love with Neele and you would like to be her loving home, please contact us. Update from her foster home 24/05/2017: Neele is still a bit shy of hands and doesn´t like to be embraced. It will surely change the next days, because she is already looking for closeness to the foster family and she always comes rushing immediately when you call her. No owner could be found and he was not chipped. His finders took him home as a foster dog and he is now with them in care and hopes to find his home soon, because he can not stay there forever. It seems, that Meilo has made bad experiences with humans. In the first contact he is anxious and reserved.
