An elderly couple found Bertie as a very small puppy on one of their walks. They took him home and decided to keep him and cared lovingly for him. When they found him, he was small and no one could tell what breed he is and how big he would become.

Bertie became bigger and bigger. And his energy level increased. Unfortunately his owner became ill and in future it is no longer possible to care for him, like you have to do it for an shepherd cross. They tried everything to find a new home for Bertie but without success and so they decided in their need to let him go. It broke their hearts, but they were in a hopeless situation.

Bertie is now in a good animal shelter. The helpers are nice and give their best to care good for all dogs.

Bertie is a young dog who is very intelligent and full of energy. He has no fearless with humans and gets along well with other dogs. Bertie is looking for an active home and he would like to visit a dog school, because there is so much to learn and he really wants to learn a lot.
