She walked in a residential area on an open space. Local residents have captured her and brought her to the shelter. Toby 3

Name: Toby (male) Date of birth: March 2016 Height to shoulder: 46 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes ok with dogs, not tested with cats Admitted to a foster home: August 2016 Toby ran after his finder in August last year when she walked with her dogs. She took him home and tried to find his owner. Unfortunately, Toby was not chipped and no one was missing him. His finder brought him to the vet, had him vaccinated and neutered. The family has already 4 dogs, and all family members have tried to find a home on the island for Toby. Unfortunately unsuccessful. That’s why he got the chance now to find a home by us. Fortunately he can stay with the family until he has found a home. Toby is a very kind and friendly young dog, who looks a bit shy in the first contact, but as soon as everything is familiar to him he shows his beautiful, playful and cheerful character. He is very well with other dogs and also very well with children. Toby is well on the leash, but would like to visit the dog school because he is very intelligent and wants to learn a lot. Aris

Name: Aris (male) Date of birth: August 2011 Height to shoulder: 38 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes ok with dogs, not tested with cats Admitted to the shelter: February 2017 Aris and his mother Tota lived with their owner and were very much loved there. They had a wonderful life until their owner suddenly died. The family didn´t want the dogs and didn´t let them into the house. From there they got no regularly food and no one took care of them. The neighbor couldn´t see it anymore, so he brought the dogs to a shelter. Both live there now and are waiting to find a family again who will care of them and love them again. Aris is an almost 6-year-old male with a beautiful black/white coat drawing. He has a very kind and friendly nature. He gratefully accepts every pout, but he doesn´t like it when he is “attacked” from behind. When stroking on the head begins, you can stroke him until the tail. Aris is very well on the leash and knows some basic commands. When he is walking, he keeps eye contact and responds well.. Aris and his mother Tota don´t feel very comfortable in the shelter. They miss their owner, the love and attention of humans. Aris would like to find a nice family very soon, who gives him a real home with his own basket and lots of strokes. When she came to the shelter she was very timid and anxious, she suspected only bad things from humans. It was obvious that she hasn´t had good experiences with humans so far. Margo is now in the shelter for a while and has completely put down her fears. She loves humans and their attention and can´t get enough cuddles. Margo has a very lovely and friendly character. She is also very well with the other dogs in the kennel. Margo hopes that she will find her family soon, who will never stop stroking and loving her again. Barny

Dogs are often exposed to this dam, because many people are walking there and the people who dispose their dogs there speculate that walkers can take the dogs with them. This doesn´t happen very often, but Barny was lucky and was taken home as a foster dog by an animal lover. Since Barny is still very shy towards people, he will probably have escaped a hunter. Most hunters are not good with their dogs. Barny is good with other dogs, he likes to play with them. Barny will be able to stay with his finder until he find a forever home.
