Her mom writes:
I saw you and thought, My goodness, the dog comes never out from the shelter. A large and dark hunting dog. She has no chance of a life outside of the shelter!
It was planned to include them as a foster dog. She was the first dog I could resume after my soul dog Roxy went over the rainbow bridge.
Then it was time: on 18th July 2013 you came with a flight sponsor and landet at the Hamburg airport. It was something different than in many other foster dogs.
The first day I will not forget… you came into our yard, have your legs over each other and watched us as if you wanted to tell us: Well, finally, it was time to pick me up!
All took you up warmly. Even our dog Arny was in love with you, even though you wanted to have your rest after the stressful journey, but you had shown him clearly and distinctly what you want from him and he was even more in love with you.
I continued my foster work, I made beautiful photos of you, wrote an update and a diary and then 4 months have passed…
Frieda was already a part of our family. Frieda was a very nervous dog what she is still today. She is not fidgety or hyperactive, just nervous. She has her own way of expressing herselves. I slowly began to like her funny way.
Sometime I asked myself whether I could give her away at all… because she came, saw and conquered. Yes she crept into my heart.
The decisive point was when we trained together. I just got out of bed, I said to Frieda that she should make lay down and she heard super. She made lay down and for that she got a little treat. Frieda went into the bedroom and placed the treat on my pillow. I was so touched that I went ahead of her to the ground, gave her the treat and said, You Frieda, you do not need to share with me, because I’ll keep you.
Now for almost a year she is my Frieda.
THANK YOU for this great dog!
