Luca has actually smuggled himself onto the page!  Perhaps he realizes that this is his only chance for a beautiful home?  In my attempts to photograph another dog, I did manage to separate that particular dog from the pack – but never without Luca!   Luca was in every kennel before I had the opportunity to close the door. So I decided to go ahead and photograph the other dog, with Luca just laying down and watching the proceedings.

When I stroked Luca, I realized just how much he enjoyed it and what a very, very gentle and rather affectionate dog he is.  As you can see though, at present he is much too thin. Luca was just abandoned at the gates of the shelter. Perhaps he has failed to make the grade as a hunting dog? We will never know.

One thing we do know: Luca is a dog that reaches straight to your heart. His whole being and his style, everything about him is adorable. And what a poser!!!  He certainly knows how to work that camera.

Luca is a great dog.  Of course he has never had training and therefore will have to learn everything, but if you are a family who has that time and love to give you will get a great dog buddy, whose gratitude you will see every day in his eyes.  Luca saw his chance for a new life and took it, so can you find it in your heart to reward his ingenuity?  If so, please contact us and we will be delighted to introduce you.
