News from Lea

The surgery was four weeks ago and Lea´s leg looks good.

In the meantime was a vet check and the threads have been pulled. Lea puts her leg on. Now you can already see clearly that the leg builds up muscles.

Lea is doing very well. For her foster home sometimes too good, because she is a power pack and wants to start running.

Unfortunately, as before, she may only walk three times a day for 15 minutes outside. Lea loves intelligence games and toys.

In her foster home it ‘s nice to see how social and considerate pointers are with each other. Lea is not allowed to run with the other dogs in the group, so there is now a childminder for her. Every morning at 5:30 a.m. runs Lea to her “Grandma” and every morning there is a happy reunion. There Lea is the princess and enjoys this also extensively until the afternoon.

A small consolation for Lea , in four weeks is the date for the radiograph. Then she can finally start her carefree dog’s life on four legs with a specific rehabilitation plan.
