Colin is living for almost four years in Germany.
He has moved at the age of 9 weeks in November 2010 to his family. For the family was the arrival at the Hamburg Airport very emotional.
Colin is doing very well in Germany.
He has now also been a 1.5 years old girlfriend. She is called Lotte and is a French Bulldog. The two love each other and get along very well.
The small Arnold had birthday and he is now 3 years old. His mommy wishes him all the best. She describes him as a little heartbeat on four paws!
His mom writes: today you are already three years old. To me it seems like it was only yesterday that I held you for the first time as a mini worm in my arms.
The time with you flies by and you’re everything to me, my heart dog.
I do not want to miss one second with you and I pray fervently that follow many many more years.
Her mom writes:
I saw you and thought, My goodness, the dog comes never out from the shelter. A large and dark hunting dog. She has no chance of a life outside of the shelter!
It was planned to include them as a foster dog. She was the first dog I could resume after my soul dog Roxy went over the rainbow bridge.
Then it was time: on 18th July 2013 you came with a flight sponsor and landet at the Hamburg airport. It was something different than in many other foster dogs.
The first day I will not forget… you came into our yard, have your legs over each other and watched us as if you wanted to tell us: Well, finally, it was time to pick me up!
All took you up warmly. Even our dog Arny was in love with you, even though you wanted to have your rest after the stressful journey, but you had shown him clearly and distinctly what you want from him and he was even more in love with you.
Yesterday on 30th August 2014 Boogie and Tallulah fly off to their new homes. Boogie has found a foster home in Germany and Tallulah is already homed.
We hope both had a smooth flight and landing and we wish you a wonderful new life in Germany.
We think she is really happy. And we all are happy for her.
Hello together,
On 18th June it was time, we waited longingly at Frankfurt airport on the arrival of our little mouse.
At first she was very shy, but understandable after such a trip with much excitement.
No sooner have we arrived at home she immediately took her bed in hogging and slept extensively… and slept… and slept…
But after sleeping we realized what we got for a little whirlwind. A little tramp who knows exactly how he must look so we melt away (and she can it very, very good). In other dogs she reacted initially very shy, with the time now she plays and rages with other dogs over the fields.
Hi everybody out there,
I wanted to write an happy ending for you all, or should I rather say a Happy Beginnings report?
Life here in Germany is so great! I do not think I could be happier somewhere else. Plenty of room to jump, a sister with whom I can let off steam, loving parents, and especially the food tastes so delicious! 🙂
Yes, I really do like to eat… I don´t really know what I liked best. Whether I prefer my toys, or towels or socks, etc., yes I shred and eat everything when no one is watching. Ok, ok! So the thing is I still behaving like a small, playful puppy but I have to improve my kind.
We went hiking a lot this summer and I was in Austria. The last 3 months have been the best of my life, and I’m so happy that I can stay here forever.
Today on 21th August 2014 the following dogs fly off to their new homes and foster homes: Dandy, Butterscotch, Sparky, Buddy, Sophie and Jake.
Dandy is already homed and Sparky is reserved for someone. The other dogs have found a foster home in Germany.
We wish you a smooth flight and landing and a wonderful new life.
Hello everyone,
Naya is now 1 year old and since 30.11.2013 with me in Frankfurt/Main.
She’s super good. She likes to go on walk and to rage with other dogs in the dog park or to play with the ball. If she is resting, she loves it cozy.
She is now neutered and in the time here she is grown up 5 cm, but only in the amount and in the length. She is slim and healthy.
Naya conjures many people is a smile to your face when she walks or plays with the ball. She is very charming and cheerful and it’s contagious to passers.
Hi everybody,
five weeks ago was the big day. We went to Hamburg to pick up Louis. The day was full of tension, excitement and joy. The moment when the dogs came through the 4 paws way was overwhelming.
Louis is a treasure on four paws. We immediately fell in love. He always wants to be there with us and do everything right. And he is so uncomplicated. Outside he plays and he runs for miles. When meet other dogs and their owner, they always say: “He is so lovely.”
In the house he is absolutely quiet and lies down to where we are. He loves to be petted all the time. Louis was immediately housebroken. Next week we go to the barber, but we think he will behave well.
He is already three years in Germany and he is really fine there. He has hit the jackpot with his family, he is very loved.
Calippo is allowed to travel with his people in holiday. So he has already seen much of the world.
We have new photos of Akira from her foster home in Germany. This adorable girl is still looking for her forever home.
Kira has settled in well in her foster home and she feels very comfortable there.
She is a cuddly and woken girl. Kira learns quickly and is attentive and her favorite place is on the sofa.
This girl is still looking for her forever home.
This girl is good with other dogs and also cats. Kiki loves water and toys.
Where are her people?
Today there are two flights to Germany.
The first is already landet in Frankfurt. Aboard were the two puppy boys Willi and Baer. They start now a new life with his forever families.
We hope both had a good flight and we wish them a wonderful new life.
Hello all together,
I’m Lilly. I’m already since November 2013 in Germany and my missus has finally time to write to you.
I feel really comfortable with my family and I don´t want to leave them. I’m the number one here.
My owners love me more than everthing. To prove it my Mum has sent some pictures.
Please, continue your work and help the Cyprus dogs to move in a lovely home like mine.
Love from Lilly and her people
Hello, I’m Thomas. Still knows me someone?
I was allowed to leave the island in March 2014 (puh, thank God, there it was much too hot for me).
I arrived in Germany and feel immediately at ease.
My family loves me more than anything because I’m a great dog.
As you can see, I’m really fine here and we do a lot together.
See you soon,
Your Thomas and family
Today one year ago we have our Trudi (formerly Violet) met at the Dusseldorf airport.
We thank you for our family member. It makes our lives more exciting, colorful, funny and active. She is the best thing that could have happened to us. We are just in love with our Trudi and every day a little more!
So thank you very much, please keep it up!
Greetings from Trudi and her family
Hello together,
Lilly is now already more than two years with us and we have found our happiness with her.
It fit perfectly from the first moment. As said the chimney-sweep, who knows her story, once so beautiful to her, Well Lilly, you had a winning the lottery. Nope, I replied, we had a winning with her. Better and shorter we can´t describe our life together.
It has lasted until we have written our happy ending, but we want apologize with many walks in the forest. But it is a great excuse, right? In any case, we have on our daily runs in the woods a lot of happy encounters with other dogs, dog owners and of course people who are traveling without dogs. We are often asked by interested people about Lilly and we use these meetings to make advertisements for Cyprus dogs. We hope that these conversations help and have helped to provide further Cyprus dogs a home.
Joey has settled in wonderfully and he enjoys being loved.
He was house-trained from day one and now he has behind the first two days of dog school.
Now he has a place to retreat and he has learned that he must not control us. The training brings us all a lot of fun because we see the successes.
The dog trainer has taught us how we train him with meat sausage and body language. He also goes very well on a leash.
Because he can not speak German, we do everything with treats but it works already well. 😉
Yesterday on 14th August 2014 the following dogs flew off to Hamburg to their new homes and foster homes: Zaco, Tilly, Maja, Milly, Lola, Lilly, Akira, Lady, Sven, Lacey and Felix.
We hope you had a smooth flight and landing and we wish you all a wonderful new dog´s life.
Our babies are safely arrived in Germany. Here are the arrival photos from Hamburg:
Today on 11th August 2014 Fred flies off to his new home in Germany.
We wish him a smooth flight and landing and a wonderful new life.
Hi together,
Tristan has been settled very well – his new friend’s name is Aitana, she is from Spain and has been 2 years with us.
Each new situation briefly arouses skepticism in Tristan
but the curiosity wins. The time works for him.
He has already managed to get a space on the couch. He loves walks and he loves vegetables and fruits like carrots, bananas, peppers and cooked kohlrabi.
We are very happy together.
Hi there,
Charly (formerly Bamboo) has now been two weeks with us and is already Everybody’s Darling.
He is so incredibly balanced, goes really well on a leash, after 3 days he was already housebroken and is characteristically an absolutely great dog. He is affectionate, cuddly and he is not afraid of people.
He can be a pure bundle of energy. But it’s so much fun to see what he has for a fun!
Every day he gets to know more and more confidence with each passing day.
We have new photos of Marty from his foster home. This cute boy is still looking for his forever home.
He need a friendly and loving family, because he is still a little shy and sensitive.
Do you remember our little Lea? She was thrown over the fence of a shelter in January. The little pointer girl was emaciated and had an old and wrong coalesced broken leg. In the end of March 2014 she was allowed to move into her foster home in Germany.
Now four months have passed and Lea had her surgery and has found her home with us. In Lea’s leg was still the custom-designed plate. This Monday she has done it, her last surgery took place. The doctors of the veterinary clinic removed the plate.
Lea is now ready for her new life and our worries are over. At this time only a long scar will remember about her bad life before she was found. Her her bone in her leg is now straight and she can enjoy her life in a couple of days. At the moment she is in pain from the last surgery.
In September Lea will go to a dog school. We have been her pampered too much. Now she has to learn to behave well.
Today on 6th August 2014 Emily and Jessie fly off to their new homes.
We wish them a smooth flight and landing and a wonderful new life in Germany.
Her foster home describes her as a very small lady dog. She is very alert and happy to be with people. She loves to sit on your lap and could be cuddled all day.
With other dogs she don´t want to play, but she is good with them. She plays with the dog from the foster home and she rages with him.
Amber is alert and is also sometimes loud when something is at the door but she stops quickly.
She meets people very happy and outgoing. Amber loves Children.
Amber would be suitable for beginners and would love to have finally a nice own family.
Pink is been a while in Germany, and she is doing very well. All are very happy together.
We received beautiful photos of Zozet in her new forever home. Great to see how happy this little girl is! All the best for you and your new family Zozet!
Today on 1th August 2014 the following dogs fly off to their new homes and foster homes: Amber, Kim, Kerry, Choccy, Clover, Heather, Marco Polo, Polly, Andy and Morris.
This is another great arrival with so many dogs that arrive. We wish the helpers in Germany a lot of fun and the families a nice time to getting to know with your new four-legged friend.
We wish our dogs a smooth flight and landing and a wonderful new dog´s life.
Today on 31th July 2014 Chaplin and Debbie fly off to their new homes in Germany.
We are very happy for both. A special flight for large size dogs, a nordic and a hunter dog. Great!
The landing is already at 7.00 pm. We wish you a smooth flight and landing and a wonderful new dog´s life.
Beautiful puppy boy Earl is still looking for his forever home.
Today on 29th July 2014 Zozet flies off to Heathrow/UK to her new forever home.
We wish her a smooth flight and landing and all the best in her future.
Bruce is super sweet and he loves water. He is still looking for his forever home.
Where are the people for this sweetheart?
Mooki´s new family is really happy that they get such a great dog. Mooki is super open-minded towards her family and already very trusting. She follows her family everywhere they go.
All are very happy together!
Greetings from Tina!
The first 2 weeks we had a small understanding problem when I said come here she sat down, etc. After 14 days everything went quite well.
Nevertheless, she is and remains a sleeping pill. In the morning she is always sooooo tired and otherwise she is also very quiet. Only if she has other dogs to play with then she will become active and she also loves her ball and stuffed animals. Even with our cats she get along well.
She has settled in very well. She loves to be in our allotment and the forest is in the near. And even at home she loves the walks. We go out every day at the lake with her dog buddies.
Today on 28th July 2014 Buddy is ready to start his new life in Germany. He flies off to his new home. The landing is in Dusseldorf at 10.45 pm.
We wish you a smooth flight and landing and a good start in your new life.
Today on 26th July 2014 Mooki flies off to her new forever home. We are very happy that this adorable girl gets finally her chance.
We wish her a smooth flight and landing and all the best for her new life!
Hi there,
It´s me – Tetra – but now my name is Tita.
This is called probably the American dream, because I have hit the jackpot. I have now a big sister, her name is Mia and she also comes from Cyprus two years ago. We live in a beautiful house with a huge garden and I help my owners in the garden. In the vegetable patch I dig everything.
We also have to go to work, that’s great. We drive all together. All love me there, and I get always a treat.
I’m doing really well, I am in happiness.
