… now Gretchen.
She has found a wonderful forever home in Germany and enjoys now her new life with nice walks and lots of love.
Tuesday 30th August 2016 – a dream come true for one of our long term babies. Brenin is finally allowed to fly off to his forever home in Germany. After 4 long years in the shelter he will be a loved family member. He will get now so much love, cuddles, warm and fluffy baskets and grass under his paws.
Dear Brenin, we wish you a good start in your new life. Take care and enjoy.
We can´t believe, that our stunning girl Hazel is not snapped away immediately. She is in her foster home in Munich since May 2016. Can´t be the truth, but it is.
People in Munich or around, where are you?
Please contact Zypernpfoten in Not e.V., if you are interested in adopting our beautiful girl.
Miracles still happen!
Mandrake is one of the best example for never give up your hope.
No one of us has an idea where Mandrake came from, he wandered in a village, nearly “blind”, because Cherry Eyes handicapped his sight! Unwanted in Cyprus, but very welcome in Germany, has he found the perfect forever home.
A dog dream come true – there are now many hands for cuddles, so much love and owners who look and care after him.
Well done everyone involved!
Thursday 18th August 2016 – what a wonderful day for 9 Cyprus paws! A ticket to freedom had: Tala, Shola, Karma, Bandit, Stanley, Zaza and the 3 cute siblings Rocket, Rusty and Roma.
For the dogs the most wonderful event, for the helpers too, but also a lot of work. A massive thank you to the volunteers from our sister organization Zypernpfoten in Not and thank you to our volunteers in Cyprus. Well done!
Zena is rehomed since the beginning of August. She has found a lovely home in Germany, where she can explore the new unknown world. She loves to get cuddles and loves to run and play in the garden.
Her family is very happy with her and we think Zena is now the most happy girl in the world.
Today on tuesday 23th August 2016 two dogs are allowed to fly off to Germany to start a better life. Lotta and Uby are the lucky pooches today. They found a home in Germany and will start a new life as a family member with lots of cuddles, green grasses under their paws and lovely walks.
We wish them all the best!
Amari is an older pointer girl who was thrown over the fence of a shelter. Unfortunately the result of the health check was, that this girl is leishmania positive. She had luck, she could stay at the shelter as a sponsored dog. No one believed that this girl would find a home, but miracle happen!!! Amari found a home about 3 month ago and her family writes about her:
We ask us every day: How could someone dispose such a dream dog???
Because Amari is:
– a beautiful Lady
– gently
– tender
– curious
– good with all dogs
– she loves to drive with us in the car
– she has such a a silk coat
– and born with a rubber skeleton
We need a short term foster for this new Mum Zola and 3 newborns, just until it’s warm enough for them to go to the shelter.
If you know anyone in Cyprus who may help, please ask them to get In touch.
Eddy is now since four weeks in his new home in Thüringen/Germany.
After initial shyness and wise restraint he has settled in well and gets every day a little bit more confidence.
Dogs and people in the neighborhood love his quiet way and look forward to walk with us.
He loves our long walks and to sniffle in the fields. He just follows his nose and it is wonderful to see how he enjoys it. After the many new impressions he likes to take a little nap.

Today we received new photos of Betty from her home in Germany. She was found together with other dogs as she lived in a bird cage.
Now she can run free, get a lot of cuddles and love from her new owners. She is now a very happy girl:
Linus is also the first day in his foster home in Germany. He is together with Enia.
We hope this cute little boy will find his forever home soon.
Only one day in her foster home and she looks already like a beautiful strong Diva. Until yesterday she was a very very shy little mouse.
Our girl Enia is still looking for her forever home.
The flight on Tuesday 6th October was a very special flight, or should we say a special flight to somewhat mitigate the backlog which unfortunately was created by some flight cancellations in recent times.
We would like to thank the Flugpaten which made this possible. It’s not every day that we get such offers.
There were three dogs which were allowed to fly, namely Jenny, Boo Boo and Flori. All three were adopted and were picked up by the new owners in Munich, although the routes to the airport could´t have been longer.
So also a thank you to the new owners for picking up the dogs despite the long journey to the airport. For our treasures no distance is too far, right?
Hello,
Kisha is now with us since the 1st of September 2015 and she has brought so much joy into our home.
With the time she got more and more confidence. Her new best friend Hannes helps her a lot. Only the barking from other dogs makes Kisha bit scared, but even that is a lot better than at the beginning.
Kisha is a small very playful dog and she is really willing to lern. She loves to romp through the fields, and she loves the sea.
Kisha is also great with other dogs, she love the ones with floppy ears. She find them very cuddly.
Kisha and Hannes are a very great team from the first minute and now Kisha probably thinks she is a small Hovawart.
Tomorrow on Friday 9th October 2015 9 more dogs are allowed to fly off to their new forever and foster homes.
We wish them a smooth flight and landing and a wonderful new life in Germany!
Maybe you ask yourself – who is Mila?
Mila was not yet on our rehoming site, because as we found Mila, she was very ill and we doesn´t know if she can survive or not.
After a surgery and one week in the clinic we had the great hope, that our beautiful girl will survive.
But unfortunately, now, 4 weeks later we had to say goodbye to her.
Yesterday, on Tuesday 6th October 2015, Jenny, Boo Boo and Flori fly off to their new homes.
We hope our three treasures had a good flight and we wish them all the best for the future.
Here are some arrival photos of the arrival on 21th August 2015 in Munich. Happy people, happy dogs:
Our sweet girl Shala has found her happiness. She lives now in Germany together with her buddy Loupi.
Jacky was rehomed 4 weeks ago and she is now in happiness. She lives a wonderful life in Germany, with best buddies, a lot of exercises and cuddly hands.
A great happy ending for our beautiful girl.
Tomorrow in Friday 21th August 2015 7 more dogs fly off to Germany to their new forever and foster homes.
We are very grateful that Sally and Boris found forever homes after years in the shelter.
We wish our treasures a smooth flight and landing and all the best for their new lives.
Sarah is in holiday with her foster family (from Germany).
She is a small sized girl, who loves to play and to cuddle with humans and other dogs.
Sarah is still looking for her forever home.
… from his forever home in Denmark. She is doing very well. He is a lovely, friendly and clever boy. His family is very proud. He is very good trainable, that is not typical for a Husky.
Buster was born approx in January 2011 and hs high to shoulder is 45 cm.
Buster was thrown over the fence of a shelter, that was in January 2014. He was very scared and it took some time to catch him. He had an infected wound beneath his tail, someone shot him in the butt. The X-ray at the vet revealed that he has six more bullets in his body.
Buster had an operation where his wound was cleaned.
In this operation the bullets should be removed, but these could not be found. Unfortunately, the shelter lacks the financial possibilities of a new operation.
We also received new photos of Fibi from her foster home in Germany. She has settled in very well, but of course she is looking for her new forever home.
Fibi is a friendly and playful little girl. She likes to play and to run.
Poncho is a lovely and friendly boy. He loves to play with the ball and he likes kids and other dogs very much.
Our cute boy is still looking for his forever home.
Tomorrow on Monday 27th July 2015 8 dogs fly off to their new foster and forever homes in Germany.
We wish them a smooth flight and landing and a wonderful new life.
