Poppy was probably a throw away, who was used to being locked up before. She was starved, infested with fleas, and had major ear infection. She was terrified of people and everything, mostly men scared her. Probably never been in a domestic situation before.
Poppy is petite in size. She is very gentle, loving and not aggressive at all. She adapts and learns very quickly. She walks well on leash and checks in when asked. She sits, shakes, lays down, and stays for command. She sits before she gets her food. She is house broken, and is good inside. She doesn’t have separation anxiety. She is in a designated area when alone. Slowly we are trusting her to stay in the house for longer periods of time by herself. Loves to be outside in the yard, probably would do well with access to a garden. She does well on her own outside. She doesn’t bark unnecessarily. She is in the mid range energy wise. She is very fun to walk, or hike with.
